        Printed matters such as brochures, newsletters or magazines always have a brand back cover signature on the cover (front and back) to improve brand recognition (1).

        One exception
        In the case where a full-page advertisement is placed on the back, no brand signature is applied.

        In general
        The brand signature has a mirrored position on the page. The basic ingredients are the white rectangle and orange line. Those fixed elements are extended from the front cover. All ingredients have the same specifications in size, colour and typography as the brand signature on the front cover, unless described in the specifications below.

        The following ingredients are part of the brand signature on the back.
        No other elements are allowed in the brand signature zone on the back cover.

         

        ING logo in brandsignatures
        Promotional items like brochures and magazines always have an ING logo on the back (2). The logo is the same size as the logo on the front cover and is linked to the orange line with a mirrored position.

         

        Informative items such as newsletters, invitations or books, don't always need a logo on the back cover. In this case, application of a logo could be confusing and cause less distinction between front and back covers. When no logo is applied, the orange line bleeds off the page (3).

        Use of a call to action
        The homepage address and/or a telephone number can be placed at the right side of the brand signature. The URL is positioned above the orange line (4a). The second call to action can be applied below the orange line, when no disclaimer is applied (4b).

        Use of a disclaimer
        When no call to action is applied, a disclaimer may be used within the standard size of the brand signature (5).

        Combination of elements
        When a call to action or disclaimer is applied on the back cover, it is not recommended to apply these ingredients on the front cover (6).
