        Typography is an important tool to add visual character to ING’s corporate identity.
        Since the reader’s attention is often focused on the word, typography plays an important role in fostering clarity and creating a strong visual impression.

        Arial is used only when technical difficulties make the usage of Frutiger impossible. The standard Arial typeface on Microsoft can be used. For example for printing stationery or PowerPoint presentations.

        Until further notice, Times New Roman and Verdana are allowed to be used in the body copy of letters and other stationery. This will change in the new design in the near future.
