        As the lion is the most distinctive part of our brand, it is important that it be used properly.

         

        Please take careful note of how the lion may or may not be used in a stand-alone capacity.

        • At least the two forepaws and the head must be fully visible (e.g.1).
        • The lion should not float on the page but should be based on the bottom of the page or some other element (e.g.2).

        • The lion may not rest on the brand signature zone (e.g.3).
        • On the lower half of the selected medium, right, downward (e.g.4).

        Colour
        • The colour of the lion is Pantone 165. Screens of 25% till 50% are allowed when used as a watermark or as background (e.g.5).
        • For black & white print, a grey lion is an option but only for internal use (e.g.6).
        • Background should always be white.
        • A reversed lion is not allowed (e.g.7).

        Format
        • In a horizontal presentation, the cut lion is at least half the breadth of the presentation (e.g.8).
        • In a vertical presentation, the cut lion is at least half the height of the presentation (e.g.9).

        Use of the graphic lion
        • The lion graphic should always be used in conjunction with the full ING logo, in the correct corporate colours. 
        • The full logo in corporate colours must be present.

        • The distance from the logo shall be at least the I-height in relation to the enlarged lion graphic (see ex. of bottom of mug).
